The Monks from Cœnobium
Taking the journal Cœnobium (1906-1919) as his basis, the writer describes an original trend in Italian thought, hitherto neglected by historiography with a religious point of view and planned as a « lay monastery » after the famous Abbaye de Thélème », Cœnobium approached from an original angle themes such as religion teaching within secondary education, the relations between the State and religious minorities, socialism and fascism seen through the eyes of faith.
