Joe Bousquet and Jean Ballard. Twenty years of correspondance
The poet Joe Bousquet and the editor of the Cahiers du Sud Jean Ballard did not only work together closely : they also were friends and confident for one another. Six letters written between Winter 1937 and Spring 1938 throws light on their relationship and the importance of Bousquet for the journal Cahiers du Sud which at that moment was celebrating its 25th year of existence.
The entire correspondance will be published in 1994 by Alain Paire and René Piniès, a testimony for twenty years of friendship and collaboration.
