Armand Guibert in Tunisia : from Mirages to Les Cahiers de Barbarie
Armand Guibert was not only a poet who poetically befriended Jean Amrouche and collaborated with him at many Tunisian journals. He was also a publisher keen on bringing to the mediocre local production the breath of « outside » poetry. This article is a documentary account of the vicissitudes of his publishing and journalistic undertakings, all under the sign of his literary universalism.
