De 2012 à 2024, Les éditions Éric Pesty publièrent K.O.S.H.K.O.N.O.N.G. Cette revue agrafée de 20 pages, à la maquette extrêmement soignée, fut dirigée par le poète, homme de radio et infatigable revuiste Jean Daive. Empruntant son titre au lac au bord duquel vécut la poétesse américaine Lorine Niedecker, cette revue fut ouverte aussi bien à la poésie française d’avant-garde qu’au domaine américain. S’inscrivant dans la lignée des précédentes revues créées par Jean Daive et fidèle à certains phares de la poésie française de la deuxième moitié du xxe siècle comme Anne-Marie Albiach ou Claude Royet-Journoud, K.O.S.H.K.O.N.O.N.G. fut l’une des grandes revues de poésie du début du XXIe siècle. Elle fut, aussi, ouverte à l’image et perpétua le dialogue fécond du texte et des arts plastiques inhérent à la modernité. Cet article esquisse quelques éléments de la poétique qui s’y élabora.
Poetics of K.O.S.H.K.O.N.O.N.G.
From 2012 to 2024, the Éric Pesty publishing house released K.O.S.H.K.O.N.O.N.G. This 20-pages stapled magazine, with its extremely careful layout, was edited by the poet, radio personality, and tireless magazine editor Jean Daive. Taking its title from the lake where the American poet Lorine Niedecker lived, this magazine was open to both avant-garde French poetry and American poetry. Following in the footsteps of previous magazines created by Jean Daive and remaining faithful to certain leading figures in French poetry of the second half of the 20th century, such as Anne-Marie Albiach and Claude Royet-Journoud, K.O.S.H.K.O.N.O.N.G. was one of the major poetry magazines of the early 21st century. It was also open to images and perpetuated the fruitful dialogue between text and visual arts inherent in modernity. This article outlines some elements of the poetics that developed there.
